This course aims at describing the philosophy and functions of the marketing department. The participants are expected to learn the routine activities of the marketing department in a company, namely: analyzing the markets, discussing opportunities and threats, formulating strategies and tactics in the areas of product, price, distribution and promotion. The course will also emphasize the fundamental marketing philosophy that involves inspiring the entire company to become customer-oriented and market-driven in order to deliver superior customer value in domestic and international markets, in marketing goods, services, ideas, organizations, events, places and personalities.
