Quality Management | e-MBA

This course aims to introduce the main principles of quality management and the quality paradigms. We will start evaluating the organizations with relation to their quality culture. The course broadens students’ conceptions of TQM, which has been described as the key to success for world-class manufacturing and service companies. The tools to implement and customize quality improvement processes in different companies and institutions; the quality awards being given in the world; the popular six sigma approach, benchmarking and lean thinking are included in the topics. Case studies and projects using EFQM Excellence model or the Kalder-Tusıad award to evaluate a firm will be carried out to enable students’ active participation. At the end of the course the students will learn to look at the global competitiveness from the perspective of quality.
