New Economy and e-Business | e-MBA

This course consists of two parts. In the first part, the so-called ‘new economy’ and its social and cultural dimensions are examined in the light of the ever-growing literature in the mass media and academic circles. The second part of the course surveys and redefines the manager’s role and function within an electronic business environment, which is the essential form of conducting business in the so-called new economy. Topics will include communication and team building with technical and non-technical staff, virtual team management and theories and practices involved with creating an online business concept.
