In 2001, she completed her undergraduate degree on Economics at Bilgi University. At the same time she also completed Economy-Administration at University of London. After starting graduate studies in Economics at Marmara University in 2002, she went onto write her thesis at Duke University in 2006 and graduated in 2008. She teaches at Bilgi University since 2009. While undertaking the management of Excellence Programs and Liverpool Administration-Economy programs, she serves as the vice president of Economy department. The courses she teaches include Money Economy, Macroeconomy, Statistics.
