After completing her high school education at American Collegiate Institute in 1992, she earned a bachelor’s degree from Bilkent University Department of Management in 1996 and MBA degree from Koç University in 1998. In 2004, she completed her PhD studies at Dokuz Eylül University where she wrote her dissertation on color preferences of fashion consumers. To conduct research in the field of management, she had been a visiting scholar at Columbia Business School in 2006 and Post-Doctoral Fulbright Fellow at Harvard Business School in 2010. She has started her academic career as a Research Assistant at İzmir University of Economics and worked at the same university during period 2001-2012, at İstanbul Aydın University in year 2012-2013, at İstanbul Bilgi University in year 2013-2014, at Kadir Has University in year 2014-2015. She taught management, strategic management, negotiation, creativity and innovation courses. Currently, she works as a Professor of Management at İstanbul Bilgi University.
